What a wonderful colour palette

Hubby has sent me an excellent link to KULER. The site enables you to upload images like the one above and create a colour palette. I made this one.

This is a great tool. I have posted it on the college VLE site for my fashion students to use when they create their own mood boards.

And the twist in the tale

Gloucester Docks
We had a good day in Gloucester. The sunshine was good and the kids enjoyed photographing some rather obscure things (pigeons and feet mainly). The Antiques Centre were not keen on the children entertaining themselves taking obscure photos in the units, so they ended up looking with their fingers instead! We found a very helpful chap in the London Camera Exchange who offered a good deal for part exchange, we’ll be back when we’ve saved up some more. As for the bureau, we’ve come away a little disappointed. We’ve spent the morning ringing round to find Antique Centres else where. I’ve been greeted with ansa phones (rightly so on a bank holiday) or antiques well and truely out of our price range. The quest for a ‘reused’ piece of furniture has headed us in the direction of Haynes, the scrap yard/DIY store in Challow: an aladdins cave – what will we find?
